Sona first caught a person’s eye of Conan in 2009, while working as an intern – someone had stolen her American Gigolo’s coffee mug. She was quite upset about it and sent a strongly worded email demanding it comes ultimately back. Conan read the email, and initially thought it was bull crap.

He decided to bring her on air to discuss it, as he found it quite humorous that she was so attached to a coffee mug that had pictures of unclothed men on it. Since that time, he has pranked her on and off the air as his assistant, all in the name of comedy. She refers to Conan as her big brother and states she respects him more than most other people in the world.

Sona Movsesian said that the craziest thing to ever happen to her while working in the assistant role was when Conan called her and asked her to arrange a viewing for him for Michael Jackson’s body, a week after his death.

She thought he was serious and immediately started figuring out how she would do that. When he called back 5 minutes later and asked her to prepare for him to adopt Michael’s children – she realized it was a joke.
